Piano Mansaint Piano Tuning
Quick start steps for tuning a piano: Create a new tuning file (Menu New tuning file) or load a saved file (pro version only) Sample inharmonicity to create a tuning curve. Play several notes across the range of the piano, playing each note for approximately 2 seconds. It is important to sample notes in the mid-section, tenor, and bass. Piano Designer is one of the best Piano tuning app that you can try out. This app is created for specific models. And with this app, you can easily control many elements from your mobile device’s graphical touchscreen. You can also tune different parameters such as pitch, volume, tonal characteristics, and so on.
PiaTune is a professional piano tuning application for iPhone ® (also works on iPad ®). PiaTune tunes the piano like an aural tuner would tune.
There is no need for pre-measurements. It measures the notes as you tune and sets the temperament. Then expands this temperament while continuously measuring. Once the piano is tuned you can save the tuning data and reuse. This time the tuning is already calculated and the piano can be tuned in any order.
Additionally, actual beat rates of major 3rds, 6ths and 10ths related to the temperament can be measured, a feature which might assist in hearing and setting beats. Beat rates of 4ths, 5ths and octaves can be calculated from these measurements.
Over-pull (for quick pitch raises), historical temperaments and partial strength measurement (for voicing) are also available.
PiaTune is free to install. Free version is paused for 2 minutes every 12 note change and note range is limited from C3 to C5 in main screen. You can upgrade to paid version to remove the limitations through In App Purchase.
