In Mac OS X, you can connect to servers that use the AppleShare, SMB, WebDAV, and NFS protocols.
Mac file sharing (AppleShare)
Sharing files over the network is convenient, but not without risks. If you leave permissions open, anyone on the network can see all of your files, which isn’t ideal on large networks. But if you lock things down you’ll have to share your Mac’s user account with anyone who needs access to the files. That’s not ideal for all sorts of reasons. Here is the launch of PKG file. With PKG file the situation is the same as with DMG files. Once installed, they also remain on your hard drive and many people forget about them. If you always save the files in the same place then removal is not difficult, but if like most of the users you save files chaotically, its search may be painfully slow. Open up Disk Utility and choose File New Image Image from Folder (or blank image if you want to make an empty DMG file you can add stuff to later). In the window that pops up, select the folder you want to encrypt and click the “Choose” button.

What is a MAX file?
A MAX file is a three-dimensional scene file created by 3ds Max, a 3D modeling, animation, and rendering application. It may contain multiple models that include wireframes, textures, lighting effects, shading, animation, and other 3D design elements.
MAX files are used for developing professional graphics for games, film, and television. 3ds Max allows you to export the MAX file to many different formats, including .FBX, .AI, .DWG, .DXF, .IGS, .SAT, .STL, and many others.
NOTE: 3ds Max was previously known as 3D Studio MAX, which also saved scenes using the '.max' extension. You can still export scenes to .3DS files in the latest version of the 3ds Max software.
