  1. The series premiere of Outlander aired on Starz on August 9, 2014. Events in the drama-packed episode titled 'Sassenach' revolved around WWII combat nurse Claire Randall, who was transported back in time to the 18th century while she was on a honeymoon with her husband Frank Randal.
  2. The Small Shrubs category has a plant for just about everybody! Since Nature Hills offers so many sizes. There is certainly a plant that will fit into your landscape.

This website was developed to give consumers facts about each plant in an effort to help the consumer make a decision about which plant is appropriate for his or her landscape. The inclusion of a plant on this site is in no way an endorsement of that plant by the University of Illinois. Some of the plants included here may become invasive in certain areas or under certain conditions, and may be useful, non-intrusive landscape plants in other areas or under other conditions.

Camellias are evergreen shrubs, pretty in mixed borders or woodland gardens. Camellia sasanqua 'Agnes O. Solomon' is one of Aker's favorites. This fall-blooming camellia has graceful, soft pink flowers. It grows slowly to about 6 feet tall in light shade and is hardy in Zones 7-9.

Use this site to help with selection of landscape plants, but also check with local organizations to see if any of the plants you chose are a problem in your area.
