- Eventually I was moved to a 4/5 combination class then to regular fifth grade. I think you may start to see a trend here. Yep, a few years later I took on the 5/6 combination class, and I FELL IN LOVE with sixth grade. So, here I am in sixth grade! As I stated earlier, I am a creator. I love to sew, garden, cook, design, build, repurpose,.

I have been trying to download the game since last week and yet I can't download it. Once it is downloaded, there is no file in the zipfile.

This game is pretty amazing. It has an excellent story, with excellent acting and good graphics. You get to travel the world and save it from a team of giant robots built from space trash that are programmed to destroy it.
My one complaint is that in order to make the gameplay fast-paced and arcade-style, the educational content ends up reduced to being a glorified multiple choice exam, except you're in an exotic locale and being chased by hostile robots. If you're an older player who has already memorized the solutions like me, the game can be easily finished in a few hours. But if you're a younger player who doesn't know the answers and is playing this game to learn them, it can be frustrating, because the game doesn't really teach them to you. It becomes an exercise in trial-and-error, and if you make too many errors, the game interrupts itself to send you to Tutor Mode, which doesn't always help. That's just a heads-up.

Course Description
Description
This is a full-length online Honors Grade 6 mathematics course for accelerated students. This course reviews concepts from grade 5 mathematics, is aligned to Grade 6 Common Core Mathematics, and exposes students to additional above grade mathematical topics. In this course, students will be introduced to the theory and applications of rational numbers. Modeling and real-world problems are emphasized throughout the course. This course develops problem solving skills through numeric manipulation and visual representation of the topics presented, and prepares students for Honors Pre-Algebra.
Online course materials, such as videos, lessons, interactive web pages, and practice problems with solutions, are provided. Students progress through the course at their own pace and are expected to watch videos and review notes regularly. Each student is assigned to a CTY instructor to help them during their course. Students can contact their instructors via email with any questions or concerns at any time. Live one-on-one online review sessions can be scheduled as well to prepare for the graded assessments, which include homework, tests, written assignments, and cumulative exams.
Instructors use virtual classroom software allowing video, voice, text, screen sharing, and whiteboard interaction. Students are strongly encouraged to work on the course at least 1 hour a day, 5 days a week (for a 6-month enrollment) and communicate frequently with their instructors.
Topics include:
- Expressions and Equations
- Operations with Equations and Inequalities
- Integers
- Rational Numbers
- Ratios and Rates
- Measurements and Percentages
- Statistics
- Geometry
- Explorations in Mathematics
For a detailed list of topics, click the 'List of Topics' tab.
This course has synchronous virtual class meetings, but participation is optional. Students may also schedule one-on-one virtual meetings directly with the instructor to answer questions or concerns. View the schedule on the Help Room tab for class meeting times. Meetings will be recorded for students who are unable to attend due to scheduling conflicts.
Virtual classrooms, and student activities in the classroom, may be recorded and added to the course as an ongoing asset for all class students to review. Students may be invited to interact in CTY community spaces that include students and instructors and potentially specially invited guests that are not enrolled in their course. Student contributions (e.g., projects, forum posts, etc.) may remain in the course after the student completes the course. These artifacts may be preserved to showcase student work or to continue important conversations.
